Intermediate Week

Intermediate Week is the third week of our month-long Camp Concern session.  It is for campers ages 11-12.

Brian Games the youth minister for the St. Clairsville Church of Christ in St. Clairsville, OH, is the director for Intermediate Week. Heather Zambito, David Games and Clyde Brothers serve this week as Assistant Directors.

About Intermediate Week...

The staff members of Intermediate Week have a unique opportunity to work with children approaching their teenage years.  Campers enjoy a sense of fun and adventure this week, while maintaining focus on the spiritual purposes at the heart of Camp Concern’s weeks.

Campers begin the day with an hour long Bible class, followed by a devotional and Interactive Bible Learning Activities. Teachers and IBLA facilitators are able to utilize this time to concentrate on specific Bible stories and themes and to spend time in discussion about real-life applications of the lessons.

Like all four weeks of Camp Concern, the Bible Bowl is an important competition and the campers compete individually and in teams.

Much of the afternoon is spent in physical and creative activities, as campers play group sports and compete in individual sports competitions.  Campers who wish to participate can compete in a variety of track and field and table competitions for trophies.  A craft hall is also available for campers.

Brian and his staff work hard to help guide these campers through a week of spiritual education, fellowship, worship and growth.
